Welcome to 'Vejstrup'

- the continuation school with lots of gymnastics

'Vejstrup' is a boarding school for 15-18 year-old boys and girls. This school emphasizes traditional Danish fundamental gymnastics along with academic subjects, other sports, and practical and artistic crafts.

We have classes in English, German and French. Our pupils want to practise their foreign language by writing to teen-agers in other countries, specially teen-agers who have English, German or French as their second language, too. They are both interested in teen-age chat, and more serious discussions on modern topics.

The school is situated in beautiful, rural surroundings in the southern part of the island of Funen only few kilometers from the beach.

We have 206 pupils, usually 122 girls and 84 boys, and most students visit our school for 1 year, some for 2 years. Most students are Danish, but we have had students from e.g. Argentina, Chile, Czech Republic, Germany, Greenland, Poland, Scotland and the USA.
